Birth Control Pills

Most regular birth control pills can also be used as a form of emergency contraception if necessary, but can be a less effective option. This works by taking an increased dosage of your pills. The amount you should take depends on brands. Research your prescription’s brand or ask a medical professional for details.

Austin Women’s Health Center offers all types of birth control pills by appointment.
